No of Post: 60 Posts
Qualifications : Candidates have an MBBS Degree recognized from the Medical Council of India or any other degree equivalent to it from the recognized institutes of India available at the graduate and post graduate levels in the stream concerned. Knowledge of Computer Applications/ Data Management and minimum two years of experience in research experience in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
Age Limit : The applicants wishing to apply must be not more than 35 years of age counted from the date of closing applications. Relaxations in the upper age limit shall be given as per the norms of government for this purpose.
Pay Scale : Pay Band -3 Rs 15, 600- Rs 39, 100 + Grade Pay of Rs 5400
Modes of Selection : The candidates shall be selected on the basis of their appearance and qualification in the written test and interview respectively.
Application Fee : All the General and OBC candidates must pay Rs 500 as the application fee while all the SC/ST candidates should pay Rs 100 towards registration of the recruitment in the post of Scientists ‘B’. The candidates can pay the required amount of application fee through Demand Draft drawn in favor of the “Director General, ICMR, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi. Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of any application fee.
